How a Chance Encounter Changed My Life
In March 1999, shortly after arriving in Melbourne from New York, I saw saffron-clad devotees chanting and dancing on Swanston Street. Captivated, I followed the sound and eventually joined their procession to Crossways Restaurant, where I was invited to kirtan and later encouraged to attend the Sunday Feast. What began with delicious prasadam became a life-changing spiritual journey. Now, twenty-seven years later, I can see how temple life transformed my habits, freed me from addictions, and helped me develop valuable skills and determination. I remain deeply grateful for the loving guidance of His Grace Aniruddha Prabhu and Her Grace Acintya Rupa Mataji, whose leadership and care profoundly shaped my life.
